So, I'm actually posting again! (must be a record) woot! Just a quick post to say that
love is in the air in the forest! The Valentines Critters are popping up in the Etsy shop...heart holding mice, and little critters with heart shaped tiny bags for love notes or small gifts!!

So, today is my day off and I decided to write a post! I was having my coffee and thinking about what to do today when I had the thought, "gee-making-little-valentines-mice-would-be-fun!-oh!-Easter-Bunnies-with-eggs,-I-need-to-finish-that-set-I-was-making,-argggh-this-house-is-a-disaster,-and-the-floor-needs-the-salt-washed-off-of-it!I-was-going-to-make-that-moth....maybe-I-should-work-on-that-chipmunk-I-started-yesterday-afternoon,..I-have-to-finish-those-forest-swing-set-guys....I-really-should-link-my-flikr-to-my-webpage...I-have-to-make-that-card-for-work..."
apparently I am having a focus problem, I overwhelm myself. I am wondering if other crafters do this as well...maybe I will find a forum to ask this on  (ravelry maybe?)
hmmm about that set ( I mentioned it in that thought tirade above) it's actually coming our pretty cute!!
 First I used a large box for the background sky, taped it to a large table.....

 here is a pic from further away so you can see the size

I cut out trees and mountains and grass from paper, taped and glued brown bags together to make the mountain, then painted it grey, and topped it with the castle made from boxes and wrapping paper tubes....., 

next I need to make more sky around the one side, add lots more trees, and the mouse house!! I'll post more pics when I do (it's on the list in my head somewhere....)
well, I guess if i am to get anything done today I should get going......

Well Hello!!! Here I am again, I'm such a prolific blogger..chatty, chatty me….
so let’s see, it's been like A YEAR?? wow, is that possible? My last post was the dopplegangers..(which I did again this year!! hahaha...geesh time flys!!!
This was mine from this year.....

So, I actually opened up the ETSY shop last month and have several needle felted critters up and a few knitted/felted purses!   Woot!   It’s a bit confusing, with trying to get on search engines and stuff, but I am enjoying it!! My newest, and I mean new as in this week, I want to make small “sets” to photograph some of the critters in…yes, why just have nice clear white box photos when you can complicate things to the utmost by building small sets out of paper and cardboard!! I thought to use paper first, then thought maybe I would use actual things like rocks and sticks…but then I figured, eh, if I wanted to do that I could just take them into the forest and photograph them…no, TOO EASY! HA! I will make sets from paper! Here is the very first one…simple yes, but sort of Rudolph reminiscent…..

      

Next up will probably be a set for the little mice I have been working on…speaking of Mice I may have a little “how I made this mouse” post soon…

Two posts in one day!!
So, I was looking at Pinterest (yay Pinterest) and somehow thought I should write on the blog, then published the October post.... this is how it went....
Pinterest, Dean Winchester, Sparkly Walls, sparkly backsplashes, glass backsplashes, hinged stain glass window for my kitchen...I should blog all the stuff I want to do!!
So now, along with the stained glass window for my bathroon, I think I want to make two shutter kinda sorta ones for the kitchen, so I can open and close them.... i will have to make a sketch.
Tried to find a short video of the dang PITA dragon, but somehow I cant seem to find one..... but in reading over the post I DID actually get a couple of my work wish list things done! No disco light but I did make party Penguins.....

and the photo faces on cartoony bodies....(faces blurred)

and the Ice Queen...whcih you would think I would think ahead and take better pictures, but I didnt.... the second photo is so you can see just how large she was!!

So apparently I wrote a post in October, but didn't hit publish.....
this is it...

Wow, 5 months.... i think maybe ill have to start blogging from my phone during a break at work... i dont usually take a break,
but with the holidays coming I may put in more hours and they will MAKE me take one.... so what have I been up to...
still haven't opened the ETSY hahah talk about proscrastinator, apparently i am the Empress :) I overthink it I guess,
but I did take some photos, which I will add at the end of the post. Speaking of work....
I can feel my self already getting carried away with Christmas ( or HOLIDAY) decorating.....
I have a tendency to come up with ideas that are way more elaborate than I have time for, this
 year i'm thinking of a giant Snow Queen, Party penguins with a disco light, Photo faces on
painted bodies having a winter fun time junctions and polar bears that appear to open the door,
no probs!! hahaha I haven't even sketched it for real yet!! I'll update the blog when I do (yea...hahaha).
Other crafty things, my daughter is going to the New York ComiCon, as Daenerys Targaryen, so I volunteer to make
her a dragon, and true to Elf form, I cant just make a dragon, I have to make a dragon that moves. 
This dragon has occupied way way way too much of my time, has been nicknamed PITA cuz he's a
pain the the ass. his teeth are polymer clay on wire so his mouth is poseable, his tail is wire and bendable,
and waggable, his neck is wire and bendable, and can turn from side to side, and when u pull a cord, his
wings go up. I'm torn between putting it in a glass case to save it..... or burning it.

hmmm...in fiber-y news, we went to the Garden State Sheep Breeders Festival  http://www.njsheep.org/ 
which was awesome! I wish I had enough land to get some sheep or alpaca...maybe some day, but until t
hen wow, so much awesome fiberness at the show, I got 2 huge bags of fiber, one wool, one alpaca at an insane price,
I'm set for the whole winter really!!

Well Hi there! Geesh when I said I didn't have the knack for regular updates, I apparently was not kidding.....   soooo what have I been up to... other than knitting and felting...

well I redid me ...again, changed my hair ect ect which is good, and did something I have always wanted to do ( like always since I was 5) ... I swam with Dolphins!! Yay! It was amazing and awesome and the best day ever...

 I look all official in the wetsuit and lanyard ;)
